What We Collect, Form by Form
These are the only places this site takes information from you. Each one is voluntary — nothing on this site requires an account, a password or a login.

Talent list (“Get on the list”)
On the get-on-the-list page. Your name, email, phone number, branch of service, your job code (MOS, rate or AFSC), a plain-English description of what you did, your separation or retirement date, where you are headed, any licenses or certifications you hold, and the kind of work you want. It is the most detailed form on this site, so it is spelled out here.
Used forKeeping track of what kind of work you are looking for, so that when something fits I can contact you about it.
Seen byOnly me, Richard Schott. It is not shared with employers, schools or anyone else. If I ever want to introduce you to an employer, I will ask you first and nothing is passed on unless you say yes.
KeptIt stays on the list until you ask me to delete it. Call or email and say so, and your entry is removed. You can also ask me what I hold on you.
What We Do, and What We Do Not Do
Stated plainly so there is no doubt.
We do not sell your information
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to recruiters, not to anyone. There is no arrangement under which anybody pays us for your details, and there never will be.
We use Google Analytics to count visits
It tells us how many people came to the site, roughly where they came from, and which pages they read. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not use it for advertising. There is no session recording on this site — nobody is watching a replay of your screen. Google's own explanation of what it collects is linked below.
We do not set advertising cookies
This site sets a small number of first-party cookies, placed by Google Analytics, so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. They are not used for advertising and they are not shared with anyone. You can block or delete them in your browser and every page on this site still works. Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary cookies to keep the site running and to block abuse.
